  • What does my Insurance Company mean when they say, "Preferred, selected or direct repair program"?"
    This means that a body shop (or collision repair facility) has agreed to sign a contract with an insurance company. This contract guarantees a select amount of work is done for the insurance company in exchange for compromises on how the shop repairs your vehicle.
  • "Insruance Companies and Steering", what do this mean?"

  • Does City Collision work for the Insurance Company or Me?
    We work for you! The insurance company simply reimburses you for the repairs that your policy covers.
  • What Insurance Companies do you Work With?
    We deal directly with ALL insurance carriers on your behalf.
  • Is there anything I need to pay when I drop off my vehicle?
    No, all you have to do is sign an authorization to repair and guarantee to pay form.
  • Is the shop paid by my insurance company, or do I pay for the repairs and then get reimbursed?"
    If your vehicle is being repaired under your insurance's direct repair program, you will only have to pay your deductible (if applicable) when you pick up your vehicle. If a direct repair program is not available, payment arrangements will be discussed prior to repairing the vehicle.
  • What are you Hours of Operation?
    We are open Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm. Stop in and see us!
  • Are you Open on Weekends?
    Yes, by appointment only.
  • How do you Honor your Loyal Customers?
    Our supporters are our loyal customers, happy clients who are enthusiastic about the work we accomplish. We don't have any contracts with insurance companies, therefore we don't rely on them throwing work our way. The City Collision team has one goal in mind and that is to get you back on the road as quickly and safely as possible. We rely completely on our Loyal Customers feedback and word-of-mouth.
  • How long will it take for my repair to be completed?
    This is determined by the extent of the damage to your vehicle. After an estimate is written and repair hours are calculated, we can better evaluate the repair time. We estimate that we can work on your vehicle for approximately 5 hours per day. This includes paint and other material dry times. The availability of parts for your vehicle also plays a significant role in calculating repair time.

    Yes, we certainly do! Our customers and their vehicles are always our main priority, and we stand behind our work, thus our repairs come with a lifetime warranty.
  • When can I Wash or Wax My Car after it's been Painted?
    We make sure your freshly painted vehicle is ready to drive away and wash it before you even pick it up. We do ask that you wait 90 days, however, before you wax it.
